Halloween

Here is Alyssa all dressed up for Halloween. We did not get her a costume, but a friend bought her the bib, and her shirt says "this IS my costume".

UPDATE

So much has happened, and I am trying to get better about posting.

Our baby girl was finally born in August, and she is two months old now. When she was a month old, we took her to have pictures taken professionally for the first time. She was so good.

She is just so adorable! We loving having Alyssa and it is hard to remember what life was like before she came! We have a lot more pictures that we have taken and I will post them tonight.

Okay, so I am really bad about posting. Things have just been so crazy, that I have not had a moment to think.

We found out in April that our little baby is going to be a girl. We are so excited! Randy was hoping for a boy, but when they told us it was a girl, he said that it just felt right. You know this little girl already has him wrapped around her little finger. He gets a silly grin on his face every time that he thinks about the baby.

I too am very excited. I can not go to any store without looking at all the baby stuff. We have been waiting so long for this blessing and can not wait for her to arrive. My due date is still August 31st, but I am hoping for September 1st. I do not like my birthstone (peridot) and would rather she have the birthstone for September (sapphire). Either way, I can not wait!

Okay, so I am really bad at this blog thing. I have had three doctor's appointments so far and everything looks good. I will go again on March 18th when I am 16 weeks. My doctor told me that he will not tell me what I am having until at least 20 weeks. I guess he does not understand that I am not a patient person. When I am there on the 18th, hopefully we can convice him to tell us if the baby will cooperate! According the the website that I get emails from, the doc should be able to tell by then.

Second Doctor Appointment

On 01/23/08, we went to the doctor again. This time he gave us copies of the ultrasound. The baby is starting to look like an actual baby! But everytime the Doc went to print, the picture would go fuzzy. Once I figure out how to scan them in, I will.

There's going to be a BABY!

A couple of weeks ago, Randy and I found out that I am pregnant. On 01/09/08, we went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound. There was a little "cloud" (as the doc called it) with a heartbeat! It was so wonderful seeing it. We are both so excited!
